-I was asked by Jason Piraino (producer / director of “The Dollmaker”) if I wanted to help out with his Annual Halloween Attraction-Swamp Road Terror. Since my character, Horace Merkins, was already in this, I said sure. I’d never done anything like this before. I have to say it’s quite a trip-especially when you get the timing right. I’m one of those in the house and you have to time it so you don’t just hit the “hit” the 1st or last person…or even miss the group entirely. You want to ideally get the middle…or the person(s) who is the “screamer” or the group of 3 to 5 people. My 1st area is more of a set up for the others initially (although there were a few times I got them good here-one group basically stayed out of the area and wouldn’t go further after the 1st “hit.” I also do the 4th “hit” and that gets them almost every time due to me being in almost complete darkness. To add to the atmosphere of that one, one of the dolls that’s on a table in this won is wound up so that “haunting doll music” goes on. Like I said earlier, it was a trip to do this. Admittedly, I misfired a few times but that’s OK. I have backup ๐ It would be great to see some familiar faces here but remember, while “Horace” is always at this, I’m not so if you see him and say ‘Hi Wayne!” and get charged…well, don’t say I didn’t warn you ๐ The highlight was this group of almost all “screamers”-3 girls and 2 guys. They were freaking so bad. At the end, they were sprinting out of the house-to which Jason sprinted after them, grabbed the glove of one of the girls and went back in the house ๐ Pics are up on my page on Facebook.
