Supporting / Guest Star / Co-Star

The following is a list of projects that I played as either Supporting, Guest Star or Co-Star…

LOCKED-IN (Hewitt Films)

-Short Film
-Supporting Role-Knife

TRIVIA-These was one of two entries for a zombie short film contest put together by Ron Bonk of SRS CINEMA LLC. I wasn’t even asked to be in this-Brian just made a cast announcement for it and there I was. 🙂 Part of the rules for the contest was you couldn’t be in more than one of them unless a) it was the exact same character or b) they were totally different. Since I was already in “Blessed Are The Meek” and I was cast in this one as a nerd, I decided to go a little extreme and make “Knife” kind of like an “Alfalfa” clone (“Little Rascals”) 🙂 This was actually quite the challenge to pull off cause I’m almost nothing like this character, but I think I did OK. 🙂 Unfortunately, the film didn’t make the deadline so it was released online via You Tube. You can see the full film on the VIDEOS page.

TRANSFORMATION (Hewitt Films)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Malachi

-TRIVIA-when Producer Brian Hewitt offered me this role, he said I could basically do what I wanted with it. He just basically wanted the same outfit I wore in his last film “Rise Up & Fall.” So I came up with the idea of the contacts as well as upping the pitch of my voice a little and adding a slight Southern accent. The first day I filmed on this he and co-producer Jack Gargaro said I was as creepy as Hell. Mission accomplished! 🙂

SLADE COLLINS 2: IN & OUT OF TIME (Mad Angel Films)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Captain James T. Morris

-TRIVIA-Director Matt Peters wanted me to return in Slade 2 as Czar’s father. I didn’t want to look identical so I came up with the idea of having a “stache.” 🙂 In addition, since the character was to be comic relief, Matt suggested I speak with a Southern accent, which I exaggerated a little… 🙂

SLADE COLLINS & THE TREE OF LIFE (Mad Angel Films)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-General Czar

-TRIVIA-Originally I auditioned for 4 different roles in this, one of them “Czar”-and landed none of them. However, I did win the role of “Guillermo,” a supporting role who initially seems like a bad guy but is really a good guy. Two days before my first day of filming the role of “Czar” opened up and I was asked by the producers if I could take the role. How could I refuse? 🙂

ZILLAFOOT (SRC Cinema LLC)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Dr. Mosku

-TRIVIA-I got this role thru networking. Specifically thru Cassandra Hayes-a friend / fellow actor. Filming in PA initially was a challenge, but I met it 🙂 What sealed the deal for me with this was being able to speak in “English Dub” like the classic Godzilla / Ultraman films.

BRIARWOOD (Crow Farm Films)

-Short Film
-Supporting Role-Hunter

-TRIVIA-I was going toe to toe with another actor for the role and we both had to be called in for a follow up audition. In the end, I was fortunate enough to get the role.

FOR TOMORROW WE DIE (Fox in the Box Productions)

-Student Film
-Supporting Role-Dorgan

-TRIVIA-I auditioned for 3 different roles on this one-and didn’t get any of them. However, they offered me a role that was not only higher up the chain than the other 3, but was originally set for a woman to play-and they would change it for me.

THE DOLLMAKER (Monstrosity Entertainment w/ Stealing Shade Productions)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Horace Merkins

-TRIVIA-I wasn’t the person originally chosen for this role-who happens to be a 350 lbs. man. Unfortunately, he was moving out of state right when filming was to start. Fortunately for me, I got the role-as well as being the 1st time I had to “bulk up” to look the part (done w/ padding BTW…)

HALF DEAD (Mad Angel Films / Wicked Six Productions)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Vox the Enforcer

-TRIVIA-Producer Matt Peters came up with the idea of urban cameo pants and a black vest. The rest was from me. I also did the fight choreography for 2 fights-Vox vs. Angel & Jamie vs. Scarlett

DRIVE

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Officer Brian Skinner (Episode-“Relationships”)

-TRIVIA-My role as a police officer in “Drive” was originally labelled as only “Officer Skinner.” Although he’s not like this (the officer apologizes after being involved in some racial profiling on an African American man), I was able to add the first name “Brian” to the role as a nod to my friend, Brian Skinner, who passed away several years ago.

NEW RIOTS (Argonauts Pictures)

-Short Film
-Supporting Role-Sage

-TRIVIA-Director Cameron Ebersold found me for the role of stage through my profile on backstage.com. Originally, the part had no lines, but with the way I brought Sage “to life” (so I’m told), lines were added to a scene-which was basically me coming up with lines on the spot. Being in the headset of “Sage” made this easy 🙂

LAST RESORT-Episode 2 (Mad Angel Films)

-Web Series
-Guest Star Role-Tiny

-TRIVIA-Producer Matt Peters had me in mind as the next “assassin” to face Jason Colby. Matt envisioned my character as a biker dude and I brought in the 70’s porn star mustache 🙂 This is also my 1st time doing fight choreography.

-Episode 2 can be watched on the VIDEOS page. Links to the other episodes are there as well.

COMING HOME (Mad Angel Films)

-Short Film
-Supporting Role-Vox the Enforcer

-TRIVIA-This was a short film that producer Matt Peters made for his soon to be wife Melissa as one of many wedding gifts. It showed Matt fighting thru some of MAF’s baddest villains to reach her. I had a framework for my fight with Matt and improvised all my lines thru out.

-This film in full can be seen on the VIDEOS page.

SLOW FOOD (Discreet Charm Productions)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Bryce

-TRIVIA-I found out about the auditions for this via Craigslist. When I arrived, Producer Scott Lancer took one look at me and said “Bryce.” Even though I auditioned for 2 additional roles, I was already “Bryce.” 🙂

MEMORY (Short Circuit Productions)

-Student Film
-Supporting Role-Mark

-TRIVIA-I auditioned for the role at a Cafe on the SU campus. Two days later I received word that evening that not only did I get the role, but they were filming the next day at 9:30 AM-and I was heading out the door to work w/ Booville and wasn’t back till 3:15 AM. Everything worked out well in the end though…

SPUD (Mad Angel Films)

-Short Film
-Supporting Role-Clark

-TRIVIA-I was asked by producer Matthew A. Peters 2 days before filming if I wanted to do this role. I said yes as it was a chance for me to play a “normal” role…at least in the beginning… 🙂

FALLEN ANGELS (T.O.M. Entertainment)

-Feature Film
-Supporting Role-Carter

-TRIVIA-I auditioned for this in mid 2010 before I got “serious” about acting in 2011. I auditioned for one of the assassins but didn’t get it. This film was planned to be the 1st of 3 movies in a trilogy of sorts. The role I did get, “Carter” was slated to have a much bigger role in film 2. Sadly, as of this posting (2012), filming for “Fallen Angels” has yet to be completed….
