7/30/2016-ACTING-“Night of Something Strange” vs. “She Kills” at GenreBlast

The nominations for the GENREBLAST FILM FESTIVAL (Aug 19-21 at Culpeper, VA) have been released-which has NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE going toe to toe against SHE KILLS for the Funniest Feature Film Award! Both films have other nominations as well. NoSS is also being nominated for Best Overall Feature Film, Best Horror Feature Film and Best FX-Feature Film while She Kills is also being nominated for Best Grindhouse / Exploitation Film, Best Poster and Best Actress in a Feature Film (Jennie Russo ). As WWE announcer Jim Ross would say about this match up between NoSS and She Kills, “It’s gonna be a slobberknocker!” (and with those two movies, probably quite a messy / gory one as well) 🙂 For more info, check out the link below.

7/29/2016-ACTING-NYC Prepares For “A Night of Something Strange” via Tromodance Film Festival This Weekend

-This weekend at OFFICIAL TROMODANCE FILM FESTIVAL in NYC will be NYC’s first exposure to a NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE! Described as “completely bonkers” by FANGORIA Magazine, NoSS is about the zombie virus being spread via STDs. As the tag line says, “Bring your raincoats…and a bazooka!” 🙂 Check out the link below for more info. 7/27/2016-EVENT-Trekonderoga Star Trek Convention August 12-14

-On August 12-14, the TREKONDEROGA Star Trek convention will take place in Ticonderoga, NY. The location for this will be at the same place where Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II filmed their episodes. For those who don’t know, these sets are now licensed by CBS as a tour resort and, as a result, STNV has now become the STAR TREK ORIGINAL SERIES SET TOUR. All the Star Trek sets from the original series have been meticulously recreated-standing on those sets, you’ll feel like you went back in time. I’m not just hyping this-I played the role of Walking Bear for some of the episodes of STNV and, being on those sets myself, admit that it was quite the pleasantly surreal experience. But don’t take my word for it-go check it out yourself. The tours will be going on soon, but if you can’t wait, check out the Trekonderoga page (link below) for more info. As you can see from the pic, several Star Trek TOS alumni will be there as well. 🙂 Bonus-there will also be a Blues Brothers tribute show-as well as an Elvis tribute show by James Cawley, the head of STNV / Star Trek Tours. I’ve seen video of James doing his Elvis gig and it’s awesome. Stunningly accurate-just like the sets \m/

7/26/2016-ACTING-Mad Angel Films Launches New Website

–MAD ANGEL FILMS has launched their revamped website-which includes the latest news and updates on their current production RADIANT DARK as well as info and ordering info on their previous 15 films. I made my MAF debut in the film “Night Run”, where I quickly learned how producer Matt Peters likes his actors to be in pain (HA!) 🙂

-Issue #60 of HORRORHOUND contains a great review of NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE by Jason Hignite. “…I promise you, you’ve not seen anything like this, but once you do, you will want more!” I play the role of Corneilus, the zombie who starts the spread of the zombie virus via STDs 🙂 On sale now (I got mine at Barnes & Noble). 7/22/2016-ACTING-Anticipation Building for “Night of Something Strange” European Premiere at 2016 Frightfest in UK

-Anticipation seems to be building for NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE‘s European premiere at Horror Channel FRIGHTFEST, the UK’s largest Horror Expo in the UK on August 25-29, 2016. In addition to NoSS making the cut on the official trailer, two write ups have appeared online (see links below). NoSS is about the zombie virus spread via STDs. I play the role of Corneilus, the zombie who starts all the chaos. 🙂
