10/23/2013-UPDATE-Editing Scripts

Did some editing for 2 scripts yesterday & today. I was under a time limit so I finished the first but didn’t get all that I wanted done with the second. I didn’t have to but, but I tend to scrutinize stuff on stuff like this a lot-some would say too much …Have a call back for a 2nd audition for a project tomorrow as well as upcoming stuff to do with BOOVILLE IN BVILLE

10/21/2013-ACTING-Final Day Filming on “Transformation”

-This was my final day filming on “Transformation” by HEWITT FILMS. It was at night but it was easy for me due to the fact that I’d finished all my dialogue scenes previously. All that was left was some action scenes. I also did some crew work with lights tonight. I took pics but am not allowed to post them till after the movie is out. This was a long one and am glad that I’m finally done. “Malachi” was a lot of fun to play-especially with director Brian Hewitt basically giving me free reign on how to play him. Coincidentally, it’s just what he had in mind. A very creepy character. I’m looking forward to seeing the character on film and the reaction to him. Pics / recaps from previous shoots for this are on my acting page on Facebook.

10/19/2013-ACTING-Casting Call for Extras for Filming on “Transformation”

From HEWITT FILMS

EXTRAS NEEDED for the film “Transformation” by HEWITT FILMS this is non-paying but should be a great time to be involved in a film being made in CNY and the Syracuse area. The scene is suppose to a masquerade, Gothic, type look and feel to it, I based this scene from the Queen video “Living on my own” so I would like wild and crazy costume type look based off that video. I do not want typical Halloween costumes like Freddy, Jason, zombies ect….I want it to be more creative, and different….I EXPECT people to sign release forms and print their name clearly on the form to get a correct credit in the film. The film will be shown when finished at The Palace Theater and possibly across the country and further. I am really going to push for this film. The location of the filming will be at:

Pooches
1627 Milton Ave
Solvay New York 13209
Filming will start around 8:00 p.m.

10/16/2013-ACTING-Voiceover Work for JD Film / The Syracuse Academy of Science School Charter

-Just got back from doing some voice over work with Terry Little for JD FILM. It was actually 2 scripts. one was for THE SYRACUSE ACADEMY OF SCIENCE SCHOOL CHARTER and the other was an offshoot of that called Genius Olympiad. It didn’t take long to do them. it’s been awhile since I’ve done voice over work. Had a good time and would like to do more. Thanks to both Terry Little & James Domroe for having me involved in this and look forward to doing some more stuff with them in the future. Some pics / recap are on my acting page on Facebook.

10/13/2013-ACTING-Almost Wrapped with “Transformation”

-On this day was my final dialogue scene. I have one more after this, but I have no dialogue (unless Brian throws some in last minute 🙂 ). I got a new set of those “white out” contacts back when I was finishing up filming on TALES OF DRACULA but, like on that day, the right contact wasn’t fitting right. In fact, it was hurting at various times. You make due right? My theory is that those FX contacts aren’t made to “breathe” like normal wear contacts-and my eyes dry out faster than normal. Plus my right eye is shaped differently than my left to a degree so…Other than that, filming was a lot of fun. Malachi is a fun character to play. There were a lot of laughs and more blooper clips added on this day….Thanks to Brian Hewitt, Jack Gargaro & Cassandra Hayes for all their support and work on this day. Looking forward to the day this is not only all done, but released. Pics / recap are now up on my acting page on Facebook.

10/12/2013-ACTING-Last Night with “Night of the Living Dead”

-Last night of the show. It’s always kinda bittersweet at the end of filming and with a theater run, the feeling is the same. This night, to me, was the best out of the three. Having said that, here’s the bloopers… 🙂

-The board I used to hit Debbie actually broke BEFORE it hit her head

-STILL didn’t get all the boards up, but it was the most yet-only 1-2 needed on the right window. Did get out in time for next cue.

-When the zombie attacks me thru the window, Tom grabs a hammer and hits the zombie 3 times, freeing me. I then grab the rifle nearby and shoot. This night, the gunfire went off while Tom was still hammering the zombie-and he accidentally actually hit him with it (not hard). So the shots went off and you can clearly see I’m not holding the rifle. Guess Tom had a “nail gun” 🙂

-After the truck explodes, I come charging back in the house and me and Alex are putting up the boards on the door. Just before we finish, the boards on the stage right window fall off by themselves…

-A delay in the gun shot in the fight w/ me and Harry, but it wasn’t that long.

-At the end, when Jay is to shoot me there was a delay. Luckily, I was prepared for it this time 🙂

-Overall it was a fun night and the energy was pretty high on this. This night had the largest crowd. It’s too bad all the shows couldn’t be filmed. It would be fun to watch again.

-I want to give a big thanks to all the cast and crew that were involved-and extra thanks to director Jay Salsberg for asking me to do this. There was a lot of pressure for me on this admittedly. Not only due to the number of lines I had to say as one of the lead roles, but just the fact that I have little theater experience. It’s different than film acting. I knew that, but I did learn a number of things from this that I know will help me with what I do. Plus, I actually played a good guy this time-how’s that? 🙂 Pics / recaps from all three nights are on my acting page on Facebook.
