9/30-10/1, 2016-For these two days (out of three) I attended the SCARE-A-CON horror expo to help support three of the films I was in that were playing there-“Empire State of the Dead,” SHE KILLS and NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE.I was also part of an artists panel on Friday night about breaking into Indie films. I also ended up in the VIP Celebrity party room afterwards-which was really cool. On Saturday I made the time to go see the venders and was surprised at how many people I knew there. I became friends with a lot of new people as well. I unfortunately missed “She Kills” cause I was too busy gabbing with people, but I have a copy of it so it’s good. 🙂 I also managed to catch another film called HolyHell that was a lot of fun. I now see preachers in a different light 🙂 I only caught the first part of “Empire State of the Dead” cause NoSS was also playing 30 minutes later. Unfortunately, not a lot of people there, but I don’t recall seeing a lot of promo for this film so maybe that was a factor. There were, however, more than 20 people watching NoSS and it got a great reactions. People were laughing in all the spots and overall was deemed a success. The Q&A ran so long that we kind of had to get kicked out by the next movie showing 🙂 NoSS gained some hardcore fans this night. \m/
