-04/18/2015-This was one of two nights where the feature film TALES OF DRACULA by WOLFBAIN PRODUCTIONS was set to premier locally at the ROBERSON MUSEUM in Binghamton, NY. I was only able to attend the Friday showing. There were two shows-the first was scheduled for 4:00 for cast and crew only. The second was for a special VIP event where people could intermingle with cast / crew afterwards and get some stuff signed if they wished.
-I was there a little late (what’s new right?), but I had good reason-I was doing a podcast interview elsewhere in Binghamton and, you all know how long winded I can get so…Director Joe DeMuro had one of my Dracula action figures there so I got to actually hold one in my hand. Then came the film. I’d seen a rough of the entire thing on my last day of filming, but I have to admit there were a number of scenes here that I’d never seen before, but which helped tie together the film. I was very pleased with the film and received a lot of compliments on my acting as well as my voice in this. The film seemed like it was over much too soon, but its close to one and half hours.
-Afterwards I was asked to do a video interview for the show THE HORROR OF IT ALL-which is already out on You Tube. Then I caught up with cast and crew till it was time to do some lobby card signing. I was basically one of the last ones to leave. A lot of pics were taken and even video so that fun. The response to film was overwhelmingly positive.
-BTW, an announcement was made here that the film has been picked up for distribution by ALPHA HOME ENTERTAINMENT and will be out on DVD and blu-ray sometime of June 2015. Keep checking out the Tales of Dracula FB page for updates. And for those who haven’t seen it yet, below is a link for the trailer for the film. It was great working with everyone involved on this and hopefully we’ll be able to do it again in the sequel. Thanks also to everyone who came out to watch this and I hope you all were entertained. Pics are on my acting page on Facebook.
