-I used to watch wrestling almost religiously back in the day and one of my favorites to watch was The Ultimate Warrior. His feuds with The Macho Man Randy Savage were awesome and his match at Wrestlemania with Hulk Hogan was one that I’d watch over and over…

-Back in the day, for a Spanish high school project, we had to do a music video or two (for some reason). It was all lip sync. Anyway, I arrived wearing inspired Ultimate Warrior makeup on, gyrating my hips like Paul Stanley (KISS) on crack 🙂 It was my first taste of fame per se cause back then, I was so quiet and shy (kinda made up for that in later years didn’t I? 🙂 )-but the reaction I got from other students & teachers who saw it was one of the first building blocks towards the path I’d ultimately take. Unfortunately, no pics exist of this and the video (which I tried to get a copy of a few years later) was taped over (if anyone does have a copy let me know!).

-While I’m sad to read of his passing, I’m glad to read that he was not only able to be inducted in the Hall of Fame, but was able to make amends with the WWE and others before he passed. . R.I.P. Warrior.
