-This is basically my last day for filming on “Stone” (although not the last day of all the filming) and this was at night somewhere in the depths of Utica / Frankfort. This is basically for the big “climax” at the end of Series 1.
-The lights were all set up and filming just got underway when it started to rain heavily-w/ lightning. That’s the main problem so we went inside the garage and waited to see if the lightning would end…or at least decrease. None of us needs to have an afro right now (HA!)….This would happen 3 more times.
-Most of the filming was done with various degrees of rain happening. Some of the fight scenes were filmed while the rain was really coming down. Obviously we all got soaked, but it will add to the scenes we did here. All of my stuff got done. I might be coming in again to do some overdubs-depends on how much the rain interfered with the audio pick up.
-Just a few things to mention. There were a number of firsts for me on this scene. My 1st fight scene-from someone who fought back I should say). My 1st time working w/ CGI (you’ll see later on) and the 1st time I had to hold up a woman (Emily) over my shoulder while people were reviewing the script 🙂 She wasn’t heavy but gravity was starting to take effect as time went on 🙂
-You know-people might think getting soaked in a suit and filming under those conditions was bad. Not for me. I’d rather be doing this than a normal 9-5 job any day. No complaints from me. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again-it was great work w/ this cast & crew-great job by everyone. Thank you all for letting me be a part of this. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product and hopes everyone enjoys watching it as much we enjoyed making it. Pics are up on my acting page on Facebook.
