11/7/2010-ACTING-Second day Filming on “Fallen Angels”

-Here I am w/ another recap of a day of filming on the “Fallen Angels” set. I got there a touch late (wow-big surprise for people who know me right? πŸ™‚ ) but it turns out makeup for the others wasn’t done yet & Jason was going to get Lunch so I was OK after all. I was basically there from 12 to around 7:30. The days I’ve been here I’m usually one of the last people to leave. I was only in like 3-4 scenes, but they were filming more than twice that today-and all the scenes scheduled got done.

-It’s kinda funny, I usually bring a book to read but when I’m there I never even touch it. I have no problem waiting on the set. There’s always someone to talk to &/or share jokes with. A lot of jokes actually.I have to wonder how much of that has been captured on the blooper reel. There were times that, even if I wasn’t in the scene, I’d just stay out of camera range & watch the other perform. It’s cool to see the others act & a great learning experience as well. It was great to hang out w/ everyone-a lot of familiar faces and some new ones. I took a lot of pics this time.

-Course, another place to be was near the heaters-it’s getting colder here. I feel bad for the assassins-they’re just wearing shorts & little else. I have layers of clothing on & I’m cold. We had a salamander going at various times in the main room we shot in-coincidentally it was also the room that had the most “ghost orbs” in it-not just today either.

-This day had a lot of dialog going. I had 1 scene which had one line and then another that had 3. Then there was a corridor walk scene-no one tripped this time πŸ™‚ Here’s some memorable moments from this day

-Jason-“QUIET ON THE SET!’……….”THAT MEANS STOP WALKING!” πŸ™‚

-Jason-“Dead person….stay dead….” and then later Jason steps on his hand (!) πŸ™‚

-Me walking into a scene after it was filmed w/ a stuff animal strapped to my stomach (there’s a pic of it-I should’ve waited till the cameras were rolling) πŸ™‚

-Marisa (Shade) saying her lines and starting to say the next person’s line πŸ™‚

-Marisa (Shade) & Steal (Kevin) are talking in a scene. Kevin says his line. Marisa says her line. Dramatic Pause. Kevin whispers to the side “What’s my next line?” πŸ™‚

-Everyone in the scene ragging on me cause at the end of one scene I had to leave and I unintentionally made a head motion like I was flipping my hair like a diva πŸ™‚

-Carlton running the boom mic and it was a scene where Kevin was talking and not only did Carlton not have the mic pointed towards Kevin’s head, but it was actually pointing below his waistline towards his manhood πŸ™‚

-Marisa trying to stay warm during takes by dancing & singing Paula Abdul songs πŸ™‚

-Me & Marlina (bodyguard) getting into a fight with our “knives” and I put mine back in the wrong way-jamming it shut πŸ™‚

-The start of scene where me & Leo (Alex) are to enter & Leo has to bang on the door. He lightly knocks on it and Jason opens the door saying “What kind of knock is that? Bang on the door hard! What are you a princess or something? πŸ™‚

-The last scene was done pretty quickly. After we were all in place, Jason & Carlton would get in position and then Cindy would call out the character who had the next line. Jason & Carlton would quickly shift to be in front of that character and then off to the next. He gets to Leo and he says “I’m trying to remember my line.” πŸ™‚

-Jason told me with all the pics and jokes that I was having too much fun-and he was right. I’d rather be doing stuff like this and/or music than my regular job any day. Looking forward to the next time I’ll be there. Pics from this can be seen on the WWJ PAGE ON FACEBOOK
