-Last night was another quick filming adventure with THE DOLLMAKER. I helped Actor David Poole finish off his last scenes. Most of the actors involved in this production are from CNY, but many times schedules clash-hence these “hit & run” filming nights. It does take production closer to finishing principle photography though and that’s what counts. I took a few pics, including a kind of dark, artsy selfie of myself (with NO editing / Photoshop at all) which can be seen on my acting page on Facebook.
-Last night I did a few quick scenes (AKA “Baby Steps”) for THE DOLLMAKER. Filming with actress Cassandra Hayes and Director / Producer Jason Piraino, filming was done quickly and efficiently. Pics are now up on my acting page on Facebook.
-I’m brought up in a humorous story that actor Michael Merchant ( SHE KILLS / NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE) recalls as one of his most memorable during filming on the set of NoSS.The story is at the start of Part 2. MICHAEL MERCHANT INTERVIEW ON TALES FROM THE SET PODCAST PART ONE
-10/24/2015-This night, me and my lady, Deb, went to the ROME CAPITAL THEATER in Rome, NY to see the premiere of “SLADE COLLINS & The Tree of Life” by MAD ANGEL FILMS. I actually managed to make it to one of these things! It’s been awhile. More often than not, I’m busy filming on premiere days and have to miss them. It’s always great to see a production reach the finish line-and even better when you can be there to witness it with many of those who put in such an effort to make it happen. With a running time of around two hours and 15 minutes, this movie isn’t for those with ADD It was great to be reacquainted with old friends, and make some new ones as well. It’s kinda funny, cause filming is almost done for the sequel “Slade Collins 2: In & Out of Time” and the two were kind of blending for me (Slade 1 was filmed mostly in 2013). I heard some really nice compliments, which are always deeply appreciated. I also was given the honor of signing some posters as well as at least 20+ DVD / blu-ray covers. Some of us went out to eat afterwards, which I believe is kind of a MAF tradition. Overall, I had a great time and DVDs / blu-rays will be available to the public soon. -Looks like I’m back filming on THE DOLLMAKER by Monstrous Entertainment and STEALING SHADE PRODUCTIONS. I’m still playing the two roles as before. The main one is the killer “Horace Merkins”. The other is a “Roy,” a featured role who gets killed by Horace. Hmmm…Pics of the filming so far are on my acting page on Facebook in album #2 for “The Dollmaker.”
