GENREBLAST FILM FESTIVAL starts today in Culpeper, VA and goes on till Sunday. Both SHE KILLS and NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE are playing so if you’re in the area, check them out! Wish I could be there-seems like a chunk of Team NoSS is there while another chunk is up here in CNY filming on HOUSE SHARK-not to mention there’s a chunk of Team NoSS in all three movies 🙂

-Here’s the movie trailer for AMERICAN DRESSER-starring Gina Gershon, Keith David, Tom Berenger and Penelope Ann Miller. Directed by Carmine Cangialosi. This was filmed in Syracuse last year. I have a role as a bouncer who breaks up a fight with Carmine and a few guys. Hope it makes the final cut-you never really know for sure till the movie is out…I know Jody Pucello did cause he’s in the trailer 🙂 The trailer is on Facebook so click on the link below to check it out.
-This is the latest production from Ron Bonk / SRS CINEMA LLC (“SHE KILLS“). I was contacted by Ron months ago about playing the role of “Darth Squanto” in this one. He’s like a Native American Bounty Hunter of Sharks. “If the Sharks be misbehavin’…Darth Squanto’s in charge of savin’…No matter what da shark be craving…Darth Squanto’s gonna slap his bacon…” (So much for my rappin’ skills 🙂 ).
-Anyway, I was basically on set all day and parts of the night three days in a row. 8/8-8/10, 2016. Two of the sets were at Ron’s and the third was at an office building in downtown Syracuse. All three days were warm days and my outfit was basically made to suck all the heat in and cook me 🙂
-Unfortunately, I can’t say what happened to me or show pics of me in the costume at this time. –8/6/2016-Unfortunately, due to lighting problems (it was too dark by the time filming was done), all the stuff from the last day had to be re-done. So I went down to Binghamton again for another run. This time, a different approach was made to my make up, so as to make it more resistant to sweat. My body reacted to that by saying “challenge accepted!” 🙂 Halfway thru, it started to come off-but nowhere near as bad as the first time. Things went by quickly. I have to admit, there were a few times where I didn’t feel like I “hit my mark” like I did the last time. I think I know why and it shall be corrected. Nevertheless, the fight scene was total improve and was fun. It’s the classic monsters era so it’s not like I’m doing any Bruce Lee type moves 🙂 It was also interesting to note that, also in the park, there was like this hip hop mini concert going on so that made for some interesting background noise during our fight. 🙂 The death scene was fun-but who’s death scene? You’ll have to watch the show to find out about that one 🙂 We almost had to cancel this day cause only me and Mark we available-and we needed at least one more for a crew spot. Luckily Greta V. came by and she helped out a lot.

I was told that the plan was to actually have this ready to be premiered at The TERROR EXPO on October 9, then to be show the week of Halloween this year on WHAT’S GOIN’ ON BINGHAMTON and then to be released online soon after. Looking forward to seeing my first silent film 🙂 Keep an eye out for news and updates on this at THE HORROR OF IT ALL.

I play the role of Knife, a rather bloodied stereotypical nerd-as can be seen by the pic 🙂
