-Next weekend I start filming on an episode called “Walking Bear, Running Wolf” by THE FEDERATION FILES. It’s nice to play a “good guy” again 🙂 I will be reprising my role as Ensign Dawson Walking Bear. Above is a promo video they made a few months back for this. I’m told I will also be on set with a live wolf 🙂 I’m looking forward to this and I hope to avoid any tornadoes 🙂

-I’m one of the guests at this year’s Zombie Con (combined with Power Con) in Syracuse, NY on Saturday May 27, 2017. So far, that I know of, other guests include both Jeremy Ambler (“Walker”) & Santiago Cirilo (“Julio”) from THE WALKING DEAD. I’ll probably be making a separate event page for this but here’s the official one. I’ll be having DVDs from both NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE and TALES OF DRACULA for sale (signed or unsigned) here as well as possibly a few other items. Stop on by and say hi 🙂
OFFICIAL FACEBOOK EVENT FOR 2017 SYRACUSE ZOMBIE / POWER CON
-Last Sunday (4/16)-an interview I did with Mike Jaquays was posted in the ONEIDA DAILY DISPATCH newspaper. I was on pages A3 and A5. In this I talk about NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE, TALES OF DRACULA, CAROLINE BLUE, STAR TREK NEW VOYAGES and various films I’ve done with MAD ANGEL FILMS (AKA “Matt Angel Films”) 🙂 as well as some promo for the WE NEED A HERO Convention I was a guest at that weekend. Here’s a pic of the actual newspaper pages from the article.
-In addition, the interview was done old school (me talking and Mike jotting down everything as fast as he could) so there were bound to be a few inaccuracies…
-The plays I did as a “youngster” were actually on Kwajalein (The Marshall Islands)-not Syracuse. I didn’t specifically say where so I can see where it would be assumed it would be in Syracuse.
-I did put a box of cereal down in that old commercial in Spanish class (this was in Syracuse) but then I immediately knocked it off via an axe kick. Nice thing to put in a cereal commercial right? 🙂
-Out of the three bands listed (Front Row / Four Large Men / CAROLINE BLUE)-I only released CDs with CAROLINE BLUE. Front Row broke up while in the midst of recording it’s first album and Four Large Men broke up while in the process of recording its second (I wasn’t in the band when their first album was recorded / released).
-In 2009 / 2010 I was still fully into music so I was just “putting my toes into the pool.” It wasn’t until 2011 I made the commitment to “jump into the deep end & try to swim.” -specifically the breast stroke (HA!) 🙂

-First up is a written review fr “Empire State of the Dead” by WICKED CHANNEL. They gave it 7.5 out of 10 stars. Very cool \m/

-Then we have a video review of NoSS from a You Tube page named WILEY MEERKAT. No spoilers in this one and got a solid 7 out of 10. \m/
-I got a call from Brian Hewitt earlier with the news that fellow actor Jack Gargaro passed away from a heart attack this morning. I believe services are this coming Saturday. I worked with Jack in “Rise Up & Fall”, “Transformation” & “Locked In” by HEWITT FILMS. He was a big part of my heading down the path of Acting (pic taken at the premiere of MS CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST where that moment actually took place). This was back when music was still my primary focus. Acting was just something to do here and there on the side between CAROLINE BLUE music video shoots. 🙂 Jack said I have a “presence”and really encouraged me to seriously become an actor. His words were on my mind, among other things, when I finally did make the switch. In the beginning years down the path of Acting he would repeat his encouragement, and even when I was fully down the path, he was still very kind and encouraging.
-“Transformation” is currently unreleased. It’s a shame that he couldn’t see the final cut, but I was told he did see the full finished rough edit so that’s good. Here’s a clip of me working with him on the short film “Locked In,” which was originally planned to be included on “Empire State of the Dead.”
-In addition, Brian posted this short / slide film that Jack himself had made.
-I’ve thanked Jack in the past for his part in my acting career. I wish we could have done more projects together. R.I.P. Jack… 😦
