8/10/2012-ACTING-Issue #1 of Star Trek:Phase II Online Comic Released

-Issue #1 of the Star Trek:Phase II Online Comic has just been released via OMNIVERSE PRODUCTIONS. Here’s the setting for the story…

Weeks have passed since the Dark Destroyer nearly crippled the Enterprise in battle and Captain James T. Kirk uncovered Section-31’s secret plot to infest the Klingon Empire with Regulan bloodworms.
As repairs to the Enterprise near completion, all Kirk wants for his ship and his crew is a peaceful mission of exploration. But the Romulans recently tested a deadly new weapon and the Organians seem to be sitting on their hands – allowing the Klingons free reign to attack the Federation at will. Starfleet Command’s priorities have shifted. Enterprise is needed back on the front lines, and the admiralty has left it to Admiral Nogura to break the news – news that Kirk is most assuredly not going to like.

8/10/2012-ACTING-Thanks From NY Gov. Cuomo to DATM

-At the DATM performance last Saturday, we were told that some reps from NY Governor Cuomo would be in attendance. Today Producer Kyle Jenks received a thank you letter from Gov. Cuomo in regards to our performance. Always nice to hear one’s work appreciated 🙂

8/8/2012-ACTING-“Pickle Talk-Episode 1”

-Here’s Episode 1 of “Pickle Talk”-an interview show. This was done shortly after I was done filming for the film “Half Dead” and, since I was still wearing the costume from my role (“Vox the Enforcer”), I decided to do the interview in character. All replies are totally improvised & off the cuff. There’s also a preview of the movie “Half Dead” as well.

8/5/2012-ACTING-First Filming With “The Dollmaker”

-Right on the heels of my 1st theater performance is my 1st official day of filming with “The Dollmaker.” As you can see from the pic, here’s the final version of the costume-pretty cool huh? 8/4/2012-ACTING-Performance of “Drums Along The Mohawk”

-The day has arrived! I stayed overnight at location and was up around 6:30 AM. Nice day-and I’m glad the weather held out. I was in full costume & makeup before noon. Performance was at 5 PM. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to do one finally run thru of the entire play like yesterday, but we all just broke off into groups and rehearsed as best we can. A lot of pros in this group-and we managed to pull it together. I have to admit I had a little case of the nerves before going out to do my 1st scene but it was over before I knew it. While similar, there are many differences between acting for film & acting for theater-the main one being for theater you only have one chance to get your lines right.

-I’d brought my camcorder to tape the play but was told I wasn’t allowed to so that didn’t happen 😦 However, I told there was someone officially filming for the production and hopefully I will get a copy of that. 🙂 I had a great time and was glad to have worked w/ such a great cast & crew. Plans are for this to be a yearly event. I don’t know what my schedule will be like but it’s something to look forward to. 8/3/2012-ACTING-4th Day Rehearsing With DATM

-One more day left before the actual performance. Today we had a dress rehearsal which was cool. I had to borrow my outfit from a fellow cast member. BTW-contrary to the pic, that’s not the weapon I use during the play 🙂 If I do more of these parts, I should probably make an investment to get my own outfit. Anyways, under Gary Sundown’s guidance, we get the big fight scene at the end coordinated. While it was not as grand as originally planned, time and circumstances prevented that from happening. maybe next year…We also managed to run thru the entire play once non-stop. This was the 1st time doing so. Tomorrow’s gonna be quite the adventure! Pics are up on the WWJ PAGE ON FACEBOOK.
