Earlier this year (2025), I received an invitation to join a cover band consisting of Patrick Odett (vocals / bass), Zadoc Angell (guitar / vocals) and Josh Smith (drums). This was not too long after Nathan joined another band I’m in called MK ULTRA SONICS (all original rock – well, we did just add a cover so…
). For this I went in thinking I would just be sharing guitar duties with Nathan, but soon that including me singing a little as well. Deep Cutts is a CNY cover band that plays 70s / 80s (with a toe dip into the 90s pool) classic / hard rock songs. I haven’t been in a pure cover band since the late 90s (soon after which, I formed CAROLINE BLUE and things have continued on from there…). so this will be interesting and fun.
