-Today is my birthday! As you can see from the video, not only did I decide to make myself a birthday cake (haven’t done so in years), but I got a little “creative” with this one 🙂 Years ago, cakes were one of the first things I tried to make and, after a very disastrous first attempt (no video – but pics on my Facebook page under “My Attempts at Cooking”), I seemed to do OK. Fast Forward to 2023. I’m rusty, but still wanted to make one so…BTW, I like stars, but I messed up my first attempt at making a star – hence the “pentagram” 🙂

-This birthday is a little a little different in that, if things had turned out differently, I would’ve died just around the end of 2021 / beginning of 2022 from Covid Pneumonia . You kind of see things a little differently after something like that…Here’s to making it thru another trip around the sun and to many more!
