-On May 14, 2019 Tim Conway passed away at the age of 85. I remember watching him on THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW and would laugh my butt off at how funny he (and the rest of the cast) was. One of my favorites with that show was whenever Tim was teamed up with Harvey Korman as he tried (in vain) to hold back laughing when Tim was doing his lines. It just made the skits even more enjoyable to watch. In 2018, Tim was diagnosed with dementia and his death was due to complications with Normal-pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), of which dementia is a classic symptom. Above is one of my favorite skits of his with Harvey – “The Dentist” and below is a heartfelt tribute to Tim from Carol. R.I.P. Tim and thanks for the laughs.
